Can I get a
copy of my
SugarCRM Database?

Absolutely. No question. It's your data and it's your application. Take a copy whenver you need one.

This is not a lock-in arrangement where we make it difficult for customers to move to other service providers. If you want a copy of your database, simply go to the Administration area of your SugarCRM instance where you'll find a download link. From here you can get a complete backup of your database and application.

This is not a substitute for backups. We do those daily. This is our commitment to our customers. A demonstration that we know that you'll only stay with us if we continue to provide service excellence.

One of the changes that Open Source software brings is that it moves the goalposts from tying customers in through proprietary technology, to tying customers in by delivering such outstanding service that they don't want to take their business elsewhere.
