So, how do you want your Portal? SalesAgility's strategy has been to develop Portal integrations between SugarCRM and two of the best known (and best) CMS (Content Management Systems) - Joomla and Wordpress.
The SalesAgility integrations uses the SugarCRM REST API. Cutting out the jargon, this means that it uses the SugarCRM business rules and is upgrade safe. The Portal integrations enable us to access all areas of SugarCRM and deliver them to and from a user-friendly website (The Portal).
The Portal integration enables companies to deliver communications with external partners, customers and stakeholders and allow any or all of these to self-serve. The Portal acts as the authentication and presentation layer and SugarCRM as the data store and primary business logic. The Portal masks the SugarCRM complexity and lets clients view the SugarCRM information that they need from a user-friendly front end.
